S&P Downgrade: America’s Reward for Obama Socialism

I know better than you what is good for youI think that the hypocritical revulsion of American wealth by the socialist liberals and their leader, President Obama, has now shown Americans the consequences of appeasing a socialist agenda over a constitutionally- based capitalist model.

As Standard and Poor’s lowered their outlook on the long-term debt rating of the United States, all the President’s men were out making pithy comments revealing their indifference. Press Secretary Jay Carney said today that “the White House expects leaders in Washington to outperform the S&P’s expectations when it comes to finding a deficit reduction solution.” So, the White House wants to pretend to use fancy Wall Street Language to mock the S&P announcement.

If nothing else has given Americans over the last two years the idea that they should be worried, it is the imbecilic remark made by the President a year ago. “I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money.” I liken that to the line from George Orwell’s Animal Farm of, “All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.” It is apparent that the self proclaimed elite should decide that you, the stupid American can only be as wealthy as THEY want you to be, not as you wish to be.

Now we stand on the threshold. Will compromise be achieved in Congress? Why are we even looking for a compromise?

I do not want to compromise my future.

I do not want to compromise my children’s future.

I do not want to compromise my grandchildren’s future.

I do not wish to compromise your future.

I do not want to compromise America’s future.

I do not wish to compromise the wealth of our nation to a failed socialist ideology that believes government, not free enterprise, is the solution.

Tell me how many astronauts the government sent to the moon? The answer is, of course, none. How many government inventions have changed your life? None (because the government created none). Free enterprise and American innovation created the means to travel in space, create vaccines and medicines that save humans, bring energy to your home, grow food for you to eat. They provide all the gear used by the great men and women of the military to defend this country. Now the lack of resolution by our elected officials to aggressively deal with our increased debt threatens free enterprise and our ability to achieve the greatness that the signers of the U.S. Constitution envisioned.

To the newly elected members of the House of Representatives; you were sent there by your bosses, the American voters (unless you forgot), to bring down the failed socialist experiment of President Obama and the former Democratic (now Socialist) Party. Government’s role is to ensure a level playing field to allow all to succeed to their maximum potential – that is it. Aside from providing for the common defense, and ensuring domestic tranquility, which too will fail as we sink deeper in debt, you need to ensure the continued wealth of this Republic, while we continue to remain a republic.

Be an American. Do not compromise with an enemy whose ideology ensures the destruction of the United States. We did not compromise with National Socialists over sixty years ago in Europe, do not compromise with the socialists in our country today who think they know better than the American people, the real creators of our national wealth.

Perhaps it is fitting to end, as I began, with the wisdom of Orwell:

“No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?”
